Here is another opportunity for LCPS students to get their physicals! All students participating in athletics, marching band, ROTC and bowling must upload their physicals in Rank One before they start summer participation.

The Las Cruces Public Schools Foundation would like to send a huge thanks to HB Construction for their recent support. We could not do what we do without support from the community and your generous contribution is appreciated. We thank YOU for being part of what we do for the educators of Las Cruces Public Schools. THANK YOU!!

How We Thrive in the 575: The first-ever LCPS Activities Elementary Leadership Conference was a huge success!
Held at Valley View Elementary, high school student council leaders from APECH, CHS, LCHS, MHS, and OMHS led engaging workshops, inspiring our future leaders with their energy and passion.
Huge thanks to all the participating schools, advisors, and students who made this event unforgettable—and to Mr. Jason Day for opening his campus to host us.
Way to go, LCPS! 💪 #Thrive575 #LCPSActivities #StudentLeadership #LasCrucesPublicSchools

***Important***
Updated Student Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
To help ensure campus safety, we’re making a few important adjustments. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support!
~Pick-Up and Drop-Off must occur in the designated lanes on the east side of the school off of Jornada Rd (highlighted in yellow on the map).
~Walkers must exit through the east gate and/or use the crosswalk on Jornada Rd to ensure safety.
~Front Office Parking Lot
Please avoid using the front office lot for drop-off or pick-up. We would like to keep this area reserved for students with disabilities and visitors that are parking to enter campus.
~West Side Parking Lot (Restricted Access Area)
Moving forward, only staff with ID and school buses will be permitted to enter through the back gate on the west side or pass beyond the front office parking lot. No access for drop-off, pick-up, or walkers.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and flexibility as we implement them.

Happy Secretary Day! Our school could not function without Vianka and Claudia! Best secretaries ever!

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Little Red School House & Elisabeth Irwin High School in Manhattan, NYC, as they traded the Big Apple for the Land of Enchantment to visit Las Cruces Public Schools.
These bright and thoughtful students joined us to explore the importance of equity in public education and engaged in meaningful dialogue about the ongoing work happening in our district.
A huge thank you to LCPS Board President Pam Cort, Superintendent Ignacio Ruiz, and Dr. Roberto Lozano, Chief of Educational Equity and Support Programs, for leading such an inspiring conversation.
And most importantly, thank you to the incredible students and advisors from LREI for making the journey to Las Cruces. Your curiosity, insight, and commitment to equity made today truly special.

In partnership with Memorial Medical Center, Las Cruces Public Schools was proud to take part in a special day of professional development for our incredible team of school nurses.
More than 80 LCPS nurses gathered at MMC to expand their knowledge on topics ranging from general medical care and illnesses, to common school-related injuries and pediatric ENT issues. A big thank you to the outstanding presenters who shared their expertise—and to MMC for hosting and providing a delicious lunch!
Our school nurses play a vital role in keeping students healthy, safe, and ready to learn. We appreciate all you do and are grateful to count you as essential partners in student success and wellness!

This week, the City of Las Cruces and Las Cruces Public Schools continued recognizing students who show cariño and help their schools thrive! 💙✨
Big congratulations to Joslyn, Joaquin, Amarissa, and Salma! 🎉 These students were celebrated at their schools by the Mayor, Councilors, School Board Members, and administrative staff from LCPS & CLC.
Each student received a certificate, some City of Las Cruces goodies—and even a cool pair of sunglasses! 😎 Their actions remind us what it means to Thrive with Cariño. 🫶

Catch the highlights from the annual LCPS Literacy Extravaganza!
We celebrated the joy of reading, the stories that spark our imagination, and the books that inspire us every day.
This free, family-friendly event welcomed children and parents to explore interactive booths, play fun games, and take home free books!
A huge thank you to our amazing community partners and organizations for making this day so special.
