Registration for English as a second language (ESL) and Spanish classes will be held July 31 & August 1.

Welcome back to school incoming kindergarteners, sixth graders, and freshmen! We hope you had a terrific summer break.
Today is transition day at Las Cruces Public Schools as students make their way back to the classrooms.
On Thursday, LCPS will welcome all students back to school for in person learning. It’s going to be a great new school year!
Parents and guardians, if your child still needs to get their immunization shots, join us during the Take a Shot immunization clinic! The first 150 kids will receive a soccer ball and a chance to win cool prizes from NMSU and the Somos Unidos Foundation. This free event is at Organ Mountain High School on Monday and Tuesday, July 17-18 and Wednesday and Thursday, July 19-20 at the LCPS Administrative Office, 505 S. Main Street.

We are currently working on updates in the Synergy system for the district. Right now, ParentVUE and StudentVUE are down as our team is working diligently on those updates to get systems back up and running. We apologize for this inconvenience if you are trying to register your child for school. Systems will be back online by the end of the day.
Just a friendly reminder, July 19th will be a transition day back to school for Kindergarten, 6th, and 9th graders.
The first day back to school for all other grade levels is July 20th.

The public is invited to meet the finalists for Superintendent at a moderated question-and answer forum at Organ Mountain High School, 5700 Mesa Grande Drive in the Performing Arts Center. The public forum will be on Thursday, June 22, at 5:30 p.m. The public will also be invited for an informal meet and greet immediately following the forum.
